Well, vacation went swimmingly. The Grand Canyon is an E-Ticket (for those of you who remember Disneyland when they sold tickets per ride). I guess I just dated myself. But on to what we are doing to get ready for Japan. The vacation was a big part of the prep, I have always wanted to go to the Grand Canyon and this base is the closest we will ever be to it. I will never get over the wonder that God provided with the Grand Canyon.

The Girls Enjoying a Sarsaparilla (AKA RootBeer) At lunch the first Day while it Stormed outside | | |

The first day at the Grand Canyon, God showed his majesty with an amazing Storm that lasted about an hour. I could not believe how much rain. I am sure glad I had the Lowepro Slingshot 202w with the weather suit. Everyone but my baby (Nikon D3100) got drenched. So we waited the storm out in a local restaurant. The girls enjoyed the food. It was a ton of food.

The rain still there but we decided to chance it. |

The late afternoon was great. We enjoyed looking around an watching the storm. It also gave Gary a chance to be a bit goofy.
The next couple of days were wonderful. But so much was done and seen it would take hours to read about it.
